Welcome to my collection of Townscapes and Cityscapes of India. Towns and cities evolve with time, but some locations and monuments preserve their old charm and character. This is a gallery of my photographs that depict the spirit and flavour of the place.

'Ganesh Stone Pillar' - Elephanta Caves, Mumbai, India (2016)
'Sadashiva' (2016) - This three headed Shiva sculpture is located deep inside a rock cut cave at Elephanta island near Mumbai. It dates back to the 7th century CE. Though sculpted in the very hard basalt rock, it does depict the serene expressions beautifully. I have photographed it in very low available light with a hand held digital camera.

'Rainy Day At Victoria Terminus' (2019) - A black and white photograph of Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus shot on an unusually rainy day, with sheets of rain pouring down.
