'Ganesh Stone Pillar' - Elephanta Caves, Mumbai, India (2016)
'Sadashiva', Elephanta Caves (2016) - This majestic masterpiece, the 7-meter high three headed Shiva is located deep inside a rock cut cave at Elephanta island near Mumbai. Though sculpted in the very hard basalt rock, it beautifully depicts the serene expressions. The sculpture represents the three aspects of Shiva: the Creator, the Preserver, and the Destroyer. It dates back to the mid 5th - 7th century CE. With very low available light and no tripods permitted, I had to photograph it handheld, with a digital SLR camera.

'Air India Tower', Mumbai (2007) - The iconic 23 storey tower on the Marine drive, stands out against the blue and pink sky at dusk. The building served as the Air India headquarters till 2013, until the headquarters moved to Delhi.
'Rainy Day At Victoria Terminus', Mumbai (2019) - A black and white photograph of Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus shot from the street on an unusually rainy day, with sheets of rain pouring down. The minimal traffic resulted in an undisturbed view of the grand building.
'Taj Palace At Dawn' BW (2007) - This is a black and white photograph of the old wing of Taj Mahal Palace hotel in Mumbai. It depicts the grand building in all glory. I photographed it at dawn, with a hint of pink still visible in the sky. There are no distractions in the foreground, which gets quite crowded during the day.
